The Ohio State University’s James Cancer Hospital - Radiation Oncology seeks a Staff Radiation Therapist to perform radiation therapy and imaging procedures, support treatment planning, and contribute to patient education and clinical education initiatives.

The role requires ARRT Radiation Therapy certification, Ohio license, a 2-year degree or equivalent experience, and at least 2+ years in Radiation Therapy. Intermittent shift coverage with varying hours; on-site position.

Qualifications

• For Hire: 2-Year College Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Licensed by the State of Ohio through the Ohio Department of Health in Radiation Therapy.
• 2+ years of Radiation Therapy experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform radiation therapy and imaging procedures as part of treatment and simulation.
• Assist in treatment planning and maintain prescribed standards.
• Provide patient education and participate in education/research initiatives.
• Conduct quality assessment activities and supervise students as directed.
