Job summary

Sutter Health's SGMF-Sutter Gould Med Foundation in Modesto is seeking a Radiation Therapist to deliver routine and specialized radiation treatments, working closely with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, accurate, and timely care.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient and family support, adherence to regulations, and mentorship of staff within a collaborative department. ARRT certification and 2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
• ARRT - Radiography certification.
• RHTT or RHA certification by Radiologic Health Branch.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• 2 years of recent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and specialized radiation treatments with safe, accurate, and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to implement treatment plans.
• Uphold patient safety, privacy, and high-quality care.
• Mentor and orient new staff within the department.
