Qualifications

• Knowledge of modern radiation therapy equipment, simulation and treatment procedures.
• Licensure and certification requirements specified for radiology practice.
• Understanding of safety controls and quality assurance in radiation therapy.
• Ability to coordinate with physicians, nurses and dosimetrists.

Responsabilités

• Delivers treatment to patients and simulations per prescriptions and orders.
• Explains procedures to patients/families and ensures safety through protocols.
• Maintains accurate documentation of treatment records and billing considerations.
• Supports quality assurance and collaborates with coders and staff.
• Maintains caring, professional atmosphere for patients and families.
