Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Certification - Basic Life Support at start; ARRT certified or registry eligible within one year of employment.
• Licensure - Licensed Radiologic Technologist required for ambulatory areas such as PROC.
• Experience - None required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with families, physicians or other healthcare team members to facilitate effective treatment.
• Positions patients for initial treatment to verify setup and beam direction. Maintains accurate treatment records.
• Acts as liaison between physicians and machine staff for complex treatments.
• Performs daily QA on linear accelerators, simulators and CT machines and reports irregularities.
