Job summary

Intermountain Health at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, seeks a Radiation Therapist to administer ionizing radiation per prescriptions, simulate for planning, and support patient education. You will perform QA, contouring for dosimetry, and coordinate with the clinical team to ensure timely treatment delivery.

The role requires a Radiology Tech license in the state, ARRT certification, and BLS; a Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Radiology Tech License in the state of practice.
• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and implements prescription and treatment plan.
• Delivers and charts all simulation and treatment summaries.
• Performs simulation procedures, prepare immobilization devices.
• Obtains accurate measurements, contours, for dosimetry purposes.
• Assess treatment machines and perform daily equipment warm-up and QA.
• Assists in clinical training and evaluation of student therapists if applicable.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Provides basic patient care during treatment and educates patients.
• Observes and monitors day-to-day clinical progress for signs of symptoms.
• Provides accurate daily billing information for all treatment related procedures.
• Schedules and treats patients in a timely and professional manner.
