Job summary

Texas Oncology in Odessa, TX is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our team. The role involves administering radiation therapy, ensuring accurate beam positioning, and delivering prescribed doses under supervision.

You will enter treatment parameters into the EMR and support scheduling and billing processes. The ideal candidate has ARRT certification and a valid state license, graduated from an accredited radiation therapy program, and is committed to providing high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under supervision of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the EMR.
• Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedules and correct billing information.
• Cut blocks when applicable and prepare custom molds as needed.
• Interpret and verify computerized treatment plans and ensure accuracy of delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
