Job summary

Next Move Healthcare in Eureka, CA is seeking a full-time Radiation Therapist to join our radiology oncology team. You will administer therapeutic radiation treatments and assist with setup, planning, and verification of treatment delivery using modern radiotherapy techniques.

This role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure accurate, compassionate treatment and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Formal therapeutic radiologic technology training completed.
• ARRT certification required upon hire.
• California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification required upon hire.
• California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification required upon hire.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer therapeutic radiation treatments in accordance with department standards and physician-directed treatment plans.
• Perform patient setup, treatment planning support, and verification procedures to ensure accurate radiation delivery.
• Operate modern radiotherapy equipment and follow established safety and quality protocols.
• Work under the direction of the Department Manager and supervision of the Lead Radiation Therapist.
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and other members of the care team.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and support a safe, respectful patient care environment.
