Job summary

Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR is seeking a Radiation Therapist for per diem day shifts to join our diagnostic and treatment team. The role involves patient simulations and delivering prescribed ionizing radiation under the Radiation Oncologist's direction.

The successful candidate will collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality care, maintain safety standards, and support patients through their treatment journeys at Providence’s family of facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program.
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiation Therapist License.
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Radiation Therapist performs simulations and delivers therapeutic ionizing radiation to the patient as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Assists the physician and fellow employees to provide optimum care and treatment to the patients.

Oregon Radiation Therapist License
