Job summary

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our day-shift team on a full-time basis. The role involves fabricating blocks and treatment devices, assisting with patient handling, and supporting records retrieval and filing to ensure accurate treatment delivery.

Required: Oregon Radiation Therapist License and ARRT certification at hire. Preferred: 1 year as aide or orderly.

Qualifications

• Oregon Radiation Therapist License required at hire.
• National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required at hire.
• Preferred: 1 year experience as aide or orderly.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates custom blocks, cut-outs and treatment devices for patient treatment needs.
• Assists the technical staff with lifting, moving and transporting patients.
• Retrieval and/or filing of patient records (e.g. x-rays, charts).
