Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is seeking a certified Radiation Therapist to join our Radiation Oncology team on a per diem basis. You will work in a high-tech, patient-focused environment delivering targeted cancer care as part of a leading metropolitan program.

Ideal candidates hold an ARRT-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program, NYS license, and a strong foundation in dosimetry and treatment planning. This on-site role supports a premier cancer program in Flushing, NY.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Completion of an ARRT approved Radiation Therapy Technology program.
• NYS Radiotherapy Technologist license required.
• Knowledge of dosimetry, treatment planning, brachytherapy and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy to patients using advanced technologies.
• Assist with dosimetry, treatment planning, and simulation as part of the therapy team.
• Maintain patient safety and quality care in a fast-paced oncology setting.
