Job summary

St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, part of Providence, seeks a Radiation Therapist to support the Radiation Oncology department. Responsible for ensuring patient care flow, identifying and solving problems, and collaborating across the Cancer Center and Hospital.

Requires graduate from accredited Radiologic Technology program, CA certifications at hire, and NRRT, with 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification required on hire.
• California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification required on hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy required on hire.
• Minimum 2 years Radiation Therapist experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in ensuring adequate flow of patient care within Radiation Oncology.
• Identify and solve patient problems and contribute to department performance improvement.
• Interact with other departments within the Cancer Center, Hospital and Medical Community.
• Collaborate with colleagues and take direction from leads as needed.
• Operate with accountability and minimal supervision.
