Job summary

James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Radiation Therapist to perform radiation therapy and imaging procedures for simulation and treatment of malignancies. You will deliver prescribed therapy to patients in the Division of Radiation Oncology and assist in treatment planning while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires an ARRT (Radiation Therapy) registration or board eligibility and a State of Ohio license in Radiation Therapy.

Qualifications

• 2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Registered or board eligible by ARRT in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Licensed by the State of Ohio in Radiation Therapy.

• Accurately deliver prescribed radiation therapy courses to patients in the Division of Radiation Oncology.
• Assist in treatment planning and maintain prescribed standards.
• Provide patient education and monitor patients for unusual reactions and events.
• Observe radiation safety measures for patients and personnel.
• Assist in student teaching and supervision.
• Perform quality assessment activities under the direction of the Imaging Manager.

About You

• 2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Registered or board eligible by the A.R.R.T. in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Licensed by the State of Ohio in Radiation Therapy.
