Urology San Antonio is seeking a compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our Radiation Oncology team. This role delivers prescribed treatments safely, positions patients, and coordinates with physicians, dosimetrists, nurses, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care.

Competenze

• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy (RT(T)).
• Texas Medical Board Radiation Therapy License.
• Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient service skills.

Mansioni

• Administer radiation therapy treatments according to physician prescriptions.
• Position patients accurately and obtain required treatment imaging.
• Operate radiation therapy equipment, including Varian Linear Accelerator, CBCT, OBI, MV Imaging, and CT Simulation.
• Perform daily equipment quality assurance checks.
• Monitor patients during treatment and communicate concerns to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and support staff.

Qualifications

Required

• One year of radiation therapy experience
• BLS Certification
• Experience with ARIA Oncology Information System
