This position offers a $7,500 sign‑on bonus. Akumin and Brigham & Women's Radiation Oncology are partnering to bring on a Radiation Therapist to join our team. The Radiation Therapist will serve patients with high quality care.
The employee may be exposed to radioactive isotopes, ionizing radiation, and a strong magnetic field. May be exposed to radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. Must have full mobility and ability to participate in vigorous activity such as walking in and out of the treatment room, lifting potentially heavy cerrobend blocks and electron cones, and transferring and moving patients. More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk. Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs. See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients. Less than 50% of the time: stoop, kneel or crawl; climb and balance; carry and lift non‑ambulatory patients for transfer or exam.
