UNC Health Care System, through UNC Medical Center, is seeking a Radiation Therapy Technologist to administer radiation therapy to oncology patients and support treatment planning and education. The role involves preparing equipment, entering treatment data, and ensuring safety and quality assurance within the Radiation Oncology unit.
The position requires completion of a CAHEA-approved Radiation Therapy Technologist program and ARRT certification (or board eligibility within one year).

Summary:
Administers radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients. Works includes assessment, intervention, calculations, documentation and patient education. Works is performed under the general supervision of a radiation therapy supervisor and is evaluated by conformance to standards and procedures.
