Standard Nuclear, Inc. seeks a Health Physicist to lead radiological protection programs across manufacturing, laboratories, and processing operations.

The role requires hands-on expertise in dose assessment, contamination controls, and regulatory compliance to maintain safe and compliant facilities. You will collaborate with radiological control technicians, EH&S, engineering, quality, and licensing teams to identify risks and implement effective controls while supporting manufacturing scale-up

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Radiation Protection, Physics, or related technical discipline.
• 3–7 years of experience in health physics, radiation protection, radiological safety, or related nuclear operations.
• Strong understanding of radiation detection, measurement, contamination control, dosimetry, and exposure assessment.

Mansioni

• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the site's radiological protection program.
• Evaluate radiological hazards in nuclear fuel fabrication, uranium processing, material handling, and laboratory activities.
• Develop and maintain radiation protection procedures, technical assessments, and operational controls.
• Ensure radiological practices align with applicable regulations, license conditions, and company requirements.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize occupational radiation exposure.
• Evaluate personnel radiation exposure through dosimetry programs and monitor results.
• Provide technical guidance on radiological safety requirements to operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.
