• Assess qualifications and training of applicants for safe use of radioactive materials.
• Calibrate survey equipment and interpret measurement results.
• Make recommendations on enforcement and licensing actions as needed.
• Perform complex monitoring inspections around regulated facilities.
• Participate in ongoing improvements of inspection techniques.
