Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Radiation Oncology Staff Nurse (RN) for a part-time role in Omaha. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants and a 0.9 FTE schedule with 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM and no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• ADN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Initiative, teamwork and flexibility required.
• Nebraska RN license or compact state license required.
• BLS certification from an AHA endorsed program.
• PALS certification required (department dependent).
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer date (department dependent).
• TNCC or ATCN within one year of hire/transfer date (department dependent).

Responsibilities

• Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care with other providers.
• Environment of care may be long term, emergent, critical, acute, interventional, or procedural driven.
