Freeman Health System in Joplin, MO is seeking a Radiation Oncology RN to join the Freeman East daytime team. This full-time role partners with the Radiation Oncology group to deliver patient-centered care through the treatment course and follow-up, including teaching, symptom management, and supportive counseling.

Requirements include a Missouri RN license (or compact state), Oncology certification, and AHA ACLS within 120 days.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse License or compact state license.
• Current Oncology Nurse certification.
• AHA ACLS within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and participate in teaching, symptom management, counseling, and supportive care for patients undergoing radiation oncology treatment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across the treatment course and follow-up period.
• Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology team to ensure continuity and outcome-directed care for patients and families.
