Job summary

AMN Healthcare is assisting a radiology-focused facility in Ohio to fill a locum tenens Radiation Oncology Physician role. Start date ASAP with on-site coverage at a Level 2 Trauma Center.

Position requires board certification, Ohio licensure, and Basic Life Support, with proficiency in SBRT, SRS, 3D and conventional radiotherapy, and external beam techniques. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm; credentialing typically takes 60+ days.

Qualifications

• Credentialing typically takes 60+ days.
• License in Ohio required and board certified.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Proficiency in SBRT, SRS, 3D Radiotherapy, conventional radiotherapy and external beam radiotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Orders tests and images as part of patient workup.
• Prescribes treatment and manages patient care.

This facility is seeking a Radiation Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm


• Practice Setting: Level 2 Trauma Center


• Required Procedures: three-dimensional Radiotherapy, Conventional Radiotherapy, External Beam Radiation, Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy.


• Required Duties: Orders Tests, Orders Images, and Prescribes


• Credentialing Timeframe: 60+ days


• Certification Requirements: Board Certified and Basic Life Support


• Licensure: Ohio
