Munson Healthcare is seeking a part-time Radiation Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our team in Traverse City, Michigan. The position supports the Munson Medical Center clinic and manages follow-up visits, imaging questions, and care coordination.

You will work with physicians, APPs, and staff, while maintaining compliance with licensure and achieving AOCNP within two years. EHRs Oracle Health and ARIA are used.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or PA studies.
• Michigan NP/PA licensure required; AOCNP within 2 years from hire date.
• Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Munson Healthcare is seeking an part‑time (0.6 FTE) Radiation Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Traverse City, Michigan! This position will support the Munson Medical Center clinic.

Position Duties/Highlights Include:

• Support departmental operations through management of a growing follow up clinic, inpatient consultations, urgent add‑on and referral visits outside standard physician scheduling, and patient inquiries related to imaging, post‑treatment symptoms, and care coordination.
• Work alongside skilled physicians, APPs, and dedicated support staff.

Standard Qualifications:

• Education / Training: Master’s Degree in Nursing or a Master’s in Physician Assistant studies.
• Work Experience: Experience in Oncology is preferred but not required.
• Certification, Licensure, Registration: State of Michigan Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant licensure required; required to achieve certification as an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) within two years from hire date.
