Job summary

Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Radiation Oncology Clinic. You will participate in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care alongside radiation oncologists, nurses, and therapists.

You will support patients from initial consultation through treatment planning, therapy delivery, symptom management, and follow-up care, ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPT1) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Radiation Oncology Clinic and deliver patient-centered care alongside radiation oncology team.
• Work with radiation oncologists, registered nurses, radiation therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Support patients throughout their treatment journey—from initial consultation and treatment planning through radiation therapy, symptom management and follow-up care.

Education
