Job summary
University of Pennsylvania's Penn Medicine is seeking a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist to serve as a full-time Clinician and Medical Director at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA. The role combines clinical duties with leadership to grow the patient population and referral base.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of clinical experience, leadership exposure, and an unrestricted license in PA and NJ with DEA licensure.
Qualifications
- MD license to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania; DEA Licensure.
- Board certified in Radiation Oncology.
- 0-1 year of related experience in Radiation Oncology required; 5+ years clinical experience preferred; leadership experience required.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Care & Practice Development: Provide high-quality clinical care at Chester County Hospital and develop a strong clinical practice.
- Quality & Patient Safety: Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and ensure safety standards are integrated.
- Physician Performance & Development: Identify remediations and develop plans to meet clinical targets.
- General Site Operations: Manage physician scheduling and credentialing, ensuring coverage and compliance.
- Business Development & Strategic Growth: Partner with leadership to expand opportunities and plan capital needs.
