Qualifications

• Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
• APRN licensure in the state of Florida is required.
• BLS card via American Heart Association is required.
• BQRS/RQI BLS credentials are accepted where noted.

Responsibilities

• Provides follow-up and health maintenance care per standards of care.
• Instructs and counsels patients on health promotion and maintenance.
• Organizes daily rounds with data presentation to the healthcare team to identify problems.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as indicated.
• Works within a multidisciplinary team to manage diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care.
• Obtains complete medical histories and conducts appropriate exams for the patient population.
• Maintains accurate records of patient contacts in person, virtually, or by phone.
