Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a full-time Radiation Oncologist at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey. The role involves providing comprehensive radiation oncology care with a multidisciplinary team and opportunities for teaching and professional development.

The department includes Gamma Knife, two linear accelerators, and HDR brachytherapy, with a focus on high‑quality patient‑centered cancer care within New Jersey’s largest integrated health system.

Qualifications

• Board certification or board eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
• Interest in teaching, clinical research, outreach and collaborative multidisciplinary practice.
• New Jersey medical license or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care within the Radiation Oncology Department.
• Serve as an attending physician for Monmouth Medical Center patients.
• Participate in night and weekend call coverage according to the department schedule.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff and multidisciplinary oncology teams.
• Participate in teaching responsibilities as delegated by the Chair of Radiation Oncology.
• Support community and physician outreach initiatives.
