  • Interest in community-based radiation oncology within a highly integrated system.

Job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiation Oncology Physician, you will join our team in a per diem status to work as needed. As part of our team, you will work alongside local and regional cancer care specialists, all dedicated to improving quality, enhancing patient experience, and advancing clinical standards for those we serve.

Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Radiation Oncologist. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment. The ideal candidate is experienced with all radiation modalities including IMRT, SBRT, and is motivated to help grow radiation services as part of VMFH’s community practice service in the Puget Sound area of Washington.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Successful completion of residency training in an ACGME accredited program.
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Medical Specialties
  • Have an active medical professional license in the State of Washington
  • Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
  • Proven ability to work in an integrated multidisciplinary environment
  • Have a commitment to patient and team-centered medicine
  • Have outstanding interpersonal relationships with peers, administrators and staff
  • Have an interest in community-based radiation oncology within a highly integrated system
