Job summary

LocumTenens.com is seeking a locum Radiation Oncologist to cover outpatient oncology services at an Asheville, NC facility. The role is two weeks per month beginning in August, with no call requirements and board certification in Radiation Oncology a must.

Active NC medical licensure is required. Responsibilities include daily clinic duties from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, managing ~20 patients on treatment weekly, and handling ~4 new consultations weekly using EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Radiation Oncology is required.
• Active North Carolina medical license must be maintained; temporary privileges available.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic-based outpatient oncology services Monday through Friday, 8:00–17:00.
• Manage an average of 20 patients on treatment per week and 4 new patient consultations per week.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and treatment coordination.
• Treatments delivered with Elekta linear accelerator and Siemens equipment.
