Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in Radiation Oncology from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
• Valid medical license to practice in the jurisdiction.
• Experience designing and delivering radiation therapy treatments.
• Excellent communication with patients and families.
• Proficiency with medical software, EHR, and planning systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Perform patient assessments and determine radiation therapy approach.
• Utilize CT/MRI/PET to target tumors and plan treatments.
• Safely administer radiation therapy per established protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and side effects.
• Stay abreast of advancements via conferences and CME.
