Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Radiation Oncologist with expertise in CNS, thoracic, GI, or GU disease to join the Department of Radiation Oncology. Open rank/track Faculty with emphasis on clinical care, teaching, and research.

MD or DO, board-certified or eligible, and Ohio license eligibility required. Faculty appointment with opportunities for clinical trial involvement and academic advancement in a nationally recognized cancer program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required; board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology.
• Completion of an accredited residency and fellowship program in Radiation Oncology.
• Current or interim Ohio medical license or eligibility to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed medical care including diagnosis and treatment in Radiation Oncology.
• Direct and participate in ambulatory clinics and inpatient/outpatient care.
• Develop and implement radiation therapy treatment plans and coordinate with other services.
• Educate patients and families; participate in teaching of residents, fellows and students.
• Engage in clinical research and quality improvement activities.
