Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a radiation worker.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to manipulate packages and wear protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receives and ships various radioactive materials and analyzes shipments.
• Inspects shipments visually for proper marking, labeling, and placarding.
• Completes shipping paperwork and checks for compliance with requirements.

Skills

Strong knowledge of radiation instrumentation

Strong knowledge of radiation protections

Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Education
