Job summary

Ludlum Measurements, Inc. in Sweetwater, Texas is seeking a dependable Calibrator to join our team. The Calibrator performs in-house calibration and functional testing of Ludlum and non-Ludlum radiation detection instruments received from around the world.

The role requires excellent written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with customers. Overtime and weekend work may be required to maintain schedules; a competitive salary and benefits package

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.
• Willingness to perform overtime, including weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates radiation instruments according to written procedures and publishes calibration certificates.
• Prepares calibration data reports and certificates plus related documentation.
• Maintains organized open work order files and tracks status.
• Adheres to schedule to minimize overdue service orders.
• Meets goals for sales, on-time deliveries, and other service metrics.
• Provides accurate calibration quotations and updates work orders with results.
• Keeps current on Ludlum calibration procedures and communicates with customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
