Salary starts at $53,008 per year with potential telework options. Position requires residency waiver is in effect and a Class C license. Full-time schedule, weekdays, Pennsylvania-based deployment.

Qualifications

• Educational and certification requirements as listed for the role.
• Degree coursework in health physics or radiological sciences, or related fields.
• Professional registration and/or experience criteria as specified.

Responsibilities

• Inspection assistance under supervision for radioactive materials and devices.
• Field measurements using radiation detection instruments.
• Draft inspection reports and document findings per procedures.
• Identify safety concerns and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in investigations of radiation-related complaints.
• Participate in emergency response training and drills.

Education

Bachelor's degree with health physics credits

Bachelor's degree in health physics/related field

NRPT certificate

Two years experience + associate degree

Four years experience + 20 credits health physics
