CesiumAstro in Colorado is seeking a Radiation Effects Engineer II to design, analyze, and verify radiation effects on electronic components and systems for space-grade products.
You will work cross-functionally across electrical, hardware, FPGA, systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, integration and test teams to support radiation analyses, testing, and mitigation throughout development. The role requires a Bachelor's with 2–5 years (or related) and strong communication skills.

In this postion, you will design, analyze, and verify radiation effects impacting electronic components and systems for products and platforms. This role contributes to product development by evaluating radiation susceptibility, supporting mitigation strategies, and performing analyses and testing that ensure products satisfy technical, reliability, and mission requirements for space environments.
Working cross-functionally with electrical, hardware, FPGA, systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, integration and test, quality, and program teams, this role supports radiation effects analysis, testing, and mitigation throughout the product development lifecycle.
$113,000 - $136,000 a year
