Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. seeks a mid-level radar/RF systems engineer to support co-development and design analysis of advanced ground-based radar systems at Wright Patterson AFB, within Warfare Systems of Mission Technologies.

You will collaborate with partner vendors and drive technical decision making in an active, agile environment. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work across disciplines.

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years with Masters; 0 years with PhD; or 9 years with HS diploma.
• 3+ years of experience in Radar or RF systems.
• Clearance: Minimum Secret clearance to start.
• Must be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance with advanced checks.
• Ability to operate in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Propose, research, develop, and document radar processing solutions from modeling and simulation.
• Interact with sponsors and customers to understand priorities and share results.
• Participate in design reviews, technical interchanges, and program status meetings.
• Provide design feedback and propose solutions during reviews and meetings.
• Participate in meetings at DoD and vendor locations.
