Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer for state estimation and target tracking in next-gen RF systems. You will analyze radar data, develop fusion algorithms, and support integration from requirements to field deployment.

The role emphasizes MATLAB/C++ design, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and delivering robust state estimation for defense missions in lab and flight-test environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
• Experience with multi-target tracking algorithms, sensor fusion, adaptive processing, MATLAB or similar tools, RF signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support target tracking, state estimation, adaptive processing, and sensor fusion for advanced RF systems.
• Analyze, process, and interpret radar and sensor data.
• Create models, visualizations, and data-driven analyses for requirements and use cases.
• Support integration and testing in simulation, labs, and flight test platforms.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure system performance and mission effectiveness.
• Evaluate performance and iteratively improve algorithms.
• Use ICDs and docs to maintain functionality.
• Engage with customers to balance performance with system requirements.
• Perform technical analysis and modify software using MATLAB and C++.
