Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to develop and maintain test and release infrastructure for radar software, combining manual and automated testing with hardware-in-the-loop environments. You will reduce manual validation, improve defect detection, and ensure reproducible radar test data and builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• 3+ years in software QA, software test engineering, or dev-infra.
• Experience developing automated tests at unit/integration/system levels.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting.
• Working proficiency in C++ to understand and debug production software.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with Jira bug-tracking.
• Experience testing software in Linux environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute manual and automated test plans for radar software and firmware.
• Identify, document, and track software defects; collaborate to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Support HWIL/SIL test infrastructure with rigs, emulators, and harnesses.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test suites.
• Develop tooling for collection and replay of radar test data for reproducibility.
• Support deployment of firmware/software updates to lab hardware and fielded units.
• Build release-assurance workflows, generate release notes and BOMs.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, systems, and CM teams to verify release criteria.
• Contribute to testing methodology and release practices as radar portfolio scales.
