Job summary

KBR's National Security Solutions team seeks a Radar Research Engineer to join our Chantilly, Virginia office. You will push SAR and MTI processing boundaries, conducting research and developing algorithms for DoD and Intelligence analyses.

Ideal candidates hold a terminal degree in a physical science or engineering discipline, with 5+ years of radar or signal processing experience and proficiency in MATLAB/C/Python. On-site work with travel endpoints, TS/SCI clearance preferred (Poly a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• 5+ years of experience in radar or signal processing.
• TS/SCI security clearance preferred; Poly is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SAR and MTI processing research and algorithm development.
• Provide technical analyses and support for R&D and DoD/IC projects.
• Develop and apply advanced methods and theories for challenging problems.
• Coordinate work and make independent research decisions in R&D settings.
