Job summary

NT Concepts is seeking an applied engineer to own radar and ML technical stack, spanning radar/SAR simulation, ML model development, and compute infrastructure. The role blends radar simulations, data preprocessing, and deployment-ready packaging with hands-on GPU compute and hardware-aware optimization.

The position requires TS/SCI level awareness and collaboration across software, hardware, and RF partners. Located in Chantilly, VA with onsite Mon–Thu and remote on Friday.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in Synthetic Aperture Radar, non-imaging radar, remote sensing, or signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical liaison between radar engineering, ML, software engineering, and operations teams.
• Develop and maintain radar and SAR simulation pipelines, including synthetic data generation and validation workflows.
• Design, build and refine ML models and pipelines for radar tasks, including preprocessing, training, evaluation, and packaging.
• Create radar products and technical deliverables, including APIs, data schemas, and documentation.
• Configure and optimize local compute environments with GPU setups and containerization.
• Support ML inference/training on constrained compute and hardware like RFSoCs/FPGAs.
