V2X Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance I to perform radar transmitter duties on the Cobra Dane radar system in Shemya, Alaska. This is a remote assignment with an 8 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation, paid per the Alaska Wage Determination.

The role involves interpreting manuals, USAF Technical Orders, and other documents; working under supervision; and maintaining/repairing high-power radar components with an emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Formación

• High school diploma and two years electronics training.
• DOD Secret clearance required.
• Two years maintenance with radar transmitters and microwave systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with analog/digital circuitry repair.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain transmitter control console.
• Maintain array face antenna elements.
• Service splitter/shifter packages and divider/combiners.
• Repair LNAs, TWTs, and power supplies.
• Maintain beam forming networks and modulators.
• Perform RF measurements and maintain records.
• Follow safety procedures and document maintenance records.
