Job summary

Medical City Decatur, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform quality radiologic procedures, follow physician orders, and deliver compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Scheduled hours include Friday-Sunday 7am-7pm with call. Applicants should have ARRT-R, an accredited degree, and a Texas license; BCLS within 30 days; 1 year experience preferred; the department emphasizes safety and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
• Associate Degree or Vocational School graduation in radiologic technology.
• Medical Radiologic Technologist license (TMB) is required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Experience with C-Arm, Fluoroscopy, portable and surgical imaging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality radiologic procedures per physician orders.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort while delivering imaging services.
• Participates in call and holiday coverage.
• Maintains competencies and follows radiation safety protocols.
• Completes documentation and equipment QC as required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs quality Radiologic procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (ARRT-R) Radiography

• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate

• Medical Radiologic Technologist license (TMB)

• 1 year experience preferred

• C-Arm, Fluoroscopy, Portable, and Surgery
