Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Rad Tech PRN to join our Radiology team. The Radiology Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Candidates should exhibit strong safety practices, be able to prepare exam rooms and equipment, and support orienting new staff while delivering compassionate patient care. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling within a major Texas healthcare network.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR MRI certification required.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT radiologic technologist credential required.
• Associate degree required.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Process diagnostic images.
• Prepare patient X-ray room, equipment, supplies, and medications as indicated.
• Practice proper radiation safety techniques.
• Assist in orienting new employees.
• Transport patients to and from the department.

Our Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic procedures. Radiology Technologists collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services. WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

• You will process images.


• You will prepare patient’s X-ray room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated and deliver patient service.


• You will practice proper radiation safety techniques.


• You will assist in the process of orienting new employees.


• You will transport patients to and from department.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging


• (ARRT-R) Radiography


• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer


• Associate Degree


• 1 experience Required
