Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
• ARRT certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Radiologic Technologist in a clinical setting.
• Experience in an urgent care environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience performing diagnostic imaging procedures with high accuracy and precision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, as prescribed by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate radiologic equipment and adjust exposure factors.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards to minimize exposure.
• Evaluate radiographic images for technical quality and diagnostic usefulness.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.
• Assist with patient care activities, including explaining procedures and providing reassurance.
• Stay updated with advancements in radiologic technology to enhance service delivery.
