Job summary

Mesa View Regional is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiologic diagnostic procedures and uphold radiation safety standards. The candidate will engage in ongoing quality control and expand diagnostic imaging skills across the department.

Requirements include an accredited X-Ray program graduate, ARRT registered or eligible, NV license, BLS, and at least two years of training in radiology technology. Coverage in other areas may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Radiography.
• Graduate from an accredited X-Ray program.
• Two years training at an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• ARRT registered (or eligible) and NV license required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
• Adhere to proper Radiation Safety procedures.
• Perform quality control on equipment and maintain imaging knowledge.
• Provide coverage in other areas of Radiology as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Description

The Radiology Technologist performs radiologic diagnostic procedures, adheres to proper Radiation Safety procedures, and performs procedures accurately and efficiently. He/she also performs necessary quality control on equipment and assumes responsibility for maintain and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills. The Radiologic Technologist will also provide coverage in other areas of the Radiology Department as needed. All other duties as assigned.

Education: Graduate from an accredited X-Ray program.

Experience: Two (2) years training at an accredited school of Radiology Technology. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong computer skills.

Licenses/Certificates: A.R.R.T. registered (or eligible). Current Basic Life Support (BLS). NV License required.
