Job summary

Hemet Global Medical Center in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Part-Time Radiologic Technologist to join the Cath Lab team. The role involves assisting physicians, scrubbing, and maintaining sterile technique during procedures.

The ideal candidate has graduated from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology, holds a current Diagnostic Radiology Technology and Fluoroscopy license, and is BLS certified. At least one year of radiologic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a radiologic technologist.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures in the Cath Lab and assist physicians with scrubbing and maintaining sterile technique.
• Recognize and respond timely to emergency situations, notify the Nurse and Physician of clinical changes.
• Keep updated on the latest cardiovascular techniques and equipment.
• Demonstrate positive guest relations through Clear verbal and written communication with patients, families, visitors and co-workers.

Education

Graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology

Current Diagnostic Radiology Technology and Fluoroscopy (RHF) license

BLS certification by American Heart Association

Salary Range: $38.29 To $44.87 Hourly

This position demonstrates proficiency for patient preparation for all procedures performed in the Cath Lab including assisting physicians with scrubbing and maintaining sterile technique. Recognizes and responds timely to emergency situations, maintains awareness of patient's condition and notifies the Nurse and the Physician of clinical changes. Keeps updated on the latest advances in cardiovascular techniques and equipment. Demonstrates behavior supportive to positive guest relations through positive verbal and written communication with patients, families, visitors and co-workers.
