Job summary

Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging exams including X-rays, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI, contributing to timely diagnoses and patient care. You will ensure proper patient positioning, workflow, and image quality according to department standards and physician orders.

Requirements include ARRT Radiologic Technology certification, CA radiographer license on hire, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of experience or approved clinical training

Qualifications

• One year experience as Radiologic Technologist or new graduate with ARRT-approved clinical training.
• ARRT Radiologic Technology certification or eligible for hire.
• California Radiographer license on hire and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures per department standards and physician orders.
• Conduct fluoroscopy and minor procedures per department standards and orders.
• Demonstrate competence in film processing and proper administration of radiopaque material.
• Enter orders in the HIS system and manage additions, corrections, and cancellations.
• Identify and initiate assessment of life-threatening conditions.

*Job Summary and Responsibilities*

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

• Performs routine diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician.
• Performs fluoroscopy/minor special procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician.
• Demonstrates competence in film-processing procedures.
• Demonstrates appropriate administering and monitoring of radiopaque material per Marian Medical Center standards.
• Places orders in the HIS system, making all additions, corrections, and cancellations as necessary.
• Identifies and initiates accurate assessment of life-threatening conditions.

Pay Range
