Job summary

Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic images and support radiologists in diagnosis and patient care. You will perform X-rays, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI imaging as part of a collaborative care team.

Ideal candidates have ARRT Radiography certification, California radiographer license, and CPR certification with at least one year of radiologic experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs routine diagnostic imaging procedures per department standards and physician orders.
• Performs fluoroscopy/minor procedures per department standards and physician orders.
• Demonstrates competence in film-processing procedures.
• Administers and monitors radiopaque material per Marian Medical Center standards.
• Enter orders in the HIS system and manage additions, corrections, and cancellations.
• Identify and initiate assessment of life-threatening conditions.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.

• Performs routine diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician.
• Performs fluoroscopy/minor special procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician.
• Demonstrates competence in film-processing procedures.
• Demonstrates appropriate administering and monitoring of radiopaque material per Marian Medical Center standards.
• Places orders in the HIS system, making all additions, corrections, and cancellations as necessary.
• Identifies and initiates accurate assessment of life‑threatening conditions.
