Job summary

Baptist Health in Elizabethtown, KY seeks a Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging in an outpatient clinic setting. The role is full-time, first shift, four days per week with 9-hour days (8:30a-6:00p) and Tuesdays off.

Requirements include an ARRT-recognized associate degree or higher, active KY licensure, ARRT registration or eligibility, and BLS within 90 days of hire. Prior rad tech experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an ARRT-recognized program (JRCERT-accredited preferred).
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy is required.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT; must obtain ARRT certification within 1 year of hire or Ky licensure.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire; preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging services in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Utilize radiographic techniques and equipment to perform imaging examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing conditions.
• Support physicians in interpreting imaging results and in patient care during procedures.

Job Description

Provide diagnostic imaging services to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Utilize various radiographic techniques and equipment to perform imaging examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required.
• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required (Must obtain ARRT certification within one year of hire or within one year of obtaining Ky licensure, whichever occurs first).
• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a Rad Tech in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred.
