Wesley Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is actively seeking a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our PRN team. You will operate x-ray equipment and perform radiographs under the supervision of a Radiologist.

This role serves patients in the emergency department, hospital, and outpatient settings, following established protocols for patients from neonate to geriatric and maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills to deliver quality diagnostic results.

Formación

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification required.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician license required.
• Associate Degree required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate x-ray equipment to capture radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Under the supervision of a Radiologist, perform x-ray procedures and assess patient needs.
• Serve patients in the emergency department, hospital, and outpatient settings.
• Perform procedures following established protocols for patients from neonate to geriatric.
• Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills to deliver quality diagnostic results.

Job Summary and Qualifications

A few responsibilities of our Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) include:

• You will operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
• Under the supervision of a Radiologist, your role performs x-ray therapy on patients, assesses patients throughout and responds to the patient’s needs as appropriate.
• Your role will serve patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services.
• You will perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.
• Your role will be responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient‑care skills and providing quality diagnostic results.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
• State Registered Radiologic Technician
• Associate Degree
