HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Radiology Technologist Assistant to support radiology staff in delivering imaging procedures across units, under physicians' orders and hospital protocols.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (college student or associate degree preferred), strong communication skills, and a patient‑focused approach with respect for confidentiality. This on-site position offers a rotating shift/PRN schedule with a comprehensive benefits package

Pay Range:$17.00 - $23.80A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.The Radiology Technologist Assistant is responsible for assisting radiology technologists in providing imaging procedures performed on patients in the various units of the radiology department in accordance with physicians' orders and the policies and procedures established by the hospital and other governing bodies.Position Specifics:o Department: Radiologyo Core Function: Imagingo Schedule: Rotating Shift/PRNo Facility: St John’s Hospitalo Location: Springfield, ILo Compensation that aligns with your experienceEducation QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED is preferred.Current college student or associates degree is preferred.Experience QualificationsClinical experience and a basic understanding of medical terminology is preferred.Must possess good communication and human relation skills. Demonstrates respect for patient confidentiality and uses complete discretion with patient information. Never discusses a diagnosis with the patient or others.
