Job summary

University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) is seeking a PRN Staff Dosimetrist to provide comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy. Minimum requirements include a BS in physics or related field or completion of an approved Medical Dosimetry Program, MDCB certification or board eligibility (within 2 years of hire), and CPR

Qualifications

• MDCB certification or board-eligible (must obtain within 2 years of hire).
• CPR Certification for Health Care Professionals.

• A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in physics or related fields; or graduation from an approved Medical Dosimetry Program through the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD).
• Certification by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) or Board Eligible. (Must obtain within 2 years of hire date)
